- Achieve the sales quotas and develop the territory.
- Contribute to the customers in order to foster their dedication and assure their satisfaction.
- Represent the assigned BU and lead the Emerson Automation Solutions' Initiative in Neuquén Area to support Customer operations in both Conventional and non-Conventional O&G Areas.
- Supervise all main projects by getting involved in the project pursuit activities jointly with the other Emerson's offices.
- He/She must be capable of talking to any customer on all the Emerson Process Management product portfolio.
- Work together with the other areas to ensure excellence in operations thru coordination with execution team, logistics and finance.
- Must participate in local O&G associations and activities (i.e. IAPG Neuquén) and engage with high level management.
- Perform face-to-face contact with key customers for building a solid relationship; get key early sales related information, get account organizations understanding and intelligence activities in order to know in advance its concerns, plans and purchasing criteria.
- With developed relationships, early engage in capital projects and operational efficiency initiatives.
- This role will require collaboration with the Buenos Aires and global teams.
- Candidate must have the ability to work within a matrix-based corporate environment.
- Engineering degree or similar, with specialization in instrumentation, valves and process control.
- Preferred 5 plus years in sales. Preferred working experience with O&G Operators and/or Engineering Contractors.
- He/She must have experience leading sales efforts, projects, strategies implementation, closing alliances or agreements.
- Attitude oriented to action and reaching challenging goals, with emphasis in proactivity.
- Able to articulate Emerson solutions and Automation Value proposition
- Availability to travel constantly, visiting clients and oilfields, seeking out new business while maintaining and expanding on existing business.
- Knowledge of the process industries and economics.
- Experience in project execution processes and deliverables
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience using Microsoft Office software package including Outlook and computers use
