- Developing library components for modeling complex Digital Signal Processors ASIC along with a channel model used in high-speed optical communications.- Developing scalable and efficient event/cycle-driven simulators for systems prototype validation and golden reference for target product.- Working with digital design and verification engineers to integrate models with HDL simulators.-
- Shared responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of models**Requirements**:
You have:
- Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent degree.- Advanced knowledge of C and C++.- Familiarity with HDL languages (verilog, HDL).- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, including design patterns.- Fluency in Python and scripting languages.- Interest in high-performance computing (HPC) and cycle/event driven simulators.- Working knowledge of revision control systems such as Git (primary) and SVN.- Good communication and presentation skills.We value:
- Familiarity with HDL languages (Verilog) and ASIC digital design flow.- Signal Processing and Digital Communications knowledge.- Experience assisting users in the adaptation of existing codes or workflows as they are transitioned to run in HPC and cloud-computing environments.- Experience optimizing the efficient utilization of advanced computing resources, including using profilers and debuggers.- Ability to conduct training workshops and one-on-one training sessions to share knowledge of the use of research computing techniques including programming, parallel, and GPU programming.- Experience with programming and running parallel computations on NVIDIA GPU's with CUDA.- Proficient fundamental and scientific programming skills (Bash, Perl, Python, Julia, R or similar languages).- Proficiency in shared and distributed memory parallelism (OpenMP, MPI) and accelerators (GPUs).- Ability to follow through with assignments and commitments in a timely and professional manner.- Exceptional ability to work effectively both within a team and independently, as circumstances warrant.The PerksWith competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an incredible culture.
