Acerca del empleoWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building and maintaining our data platform and data‑driven systems. This is a hands‑on role where you will contribute to technical decisions, collaborate closely with the team and help improve our data ecosystem. You will work across data engineering and personalization use cases, helping transform raw data into actionable insights and intelligent user experiences.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure.Write production‑ready TypeScript code (AWS Lambda, CDK, Zod validation) to support data and backend workflows.Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform and load data efficiently.Work with AWS services and databases such as Aurora, Snowflake and DynamoDB.Contribute to data model design and optimization within Snowflake for performance and cost‑efficiency.Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency through validation, monitoring and testing practices.Work with vector databases and embeddings to enable semantic search and personalization capabilities.Apply personalization concepts such as scoring, reranking and segmentation to improve data‑driven user experiences.Collaborate with engineers, analysts and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and improvements.Support and share knowledge with other engineers in the team.Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices to continuously improve the data platform.Technology Requirements5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles. We are adaptable for candidates with strong recent experience in AWS data pipelines and vector embeddings or personalization systems.Strong experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, CDK and data‑related infra
