Our focus is on placing you in roles where you can grow, be challenged, and build long-term, meaningful careers.Role OverviewWe are hiring a Microsoft 365 Automation Developer to design and implement the automation layer that connects the firm's case files, structured data, document templates, and AI drafting system.You will build Power Automate flows, configure SharePoint document libraries, integrate DocuSign triggers, and connect an AI document drafting component (Claude) to a living "Case Summary" document that serves as the intelligence hub for each active case.This role does not require legal expertise, it requires deep M365 technical skill, strong systems thinking, and the ability to execute a complex multi-flow integration independently.Your Impact:In this role, you will:Build a conditional case intake form that structures all key case data at intakeCreate a living "Case Summary" document that auto-populates from intake data and updates via AI analysis of new documentsImplement locked Word templates with content controls for complaints, demand letters, interrogatories, and other legal documentsAutomate routing of signed retainers from DocuSign into the correct SharePoint case foldersBuild workflow triggers for document generation when cases move into key stages (litigation, demands, closings)Create weekly treatment update reports generated automatically from Excel tracking sheetsReduce the attorney's manual admin time by 10+ hours per week through intelligent automationCore Responsibilities1.
Case Intake Form & Structured Data Layer — 25%Build a conditional SharePoint/Forms-based case intake form with fields for case type, incident date, defendant names, insurance carrier, and case-type-specific fieldsEnsure form logic reveals only relevant fields based on case type selection (auto accident, premises liability, mold exposure, etc.)Connect structured intake data to automatically populate the top section of the Case Summary documentDesign data schema that supports consistent downstream document generation2.
Case Summary Document & AI Integration — 25%Build and maintain the "Case Summary" as the central intelligence document for each caseImplement automation that sends newly added documents (police reports, medical records, deposition transcripts) to the Claude AI API for analysisCreate flows that update relevant Case Summary sections (incident summary, liability analysis, strategic angles, damages overview) based on AI outputEnsure the Case Summary remains the reliable source of truth throughout the case lifecycle3.
Document Automation & Locked Templates — 25%Implement locked Word templates using content controls that accept automated data insertion without altering formattingBuild automation for complaints, summons, letters of representation, interrogatories, requests for production, demand letters, and closing statementsEnsure AI-assisted drafting pulls from the Case Summary and relevant case documents while maintaining strict template structureTest all templates for formatting integrity across multiple case types4.
Workflow Triggers & Folder Automation — 15%Build Power Automate flows that trigger document generation when cases move into specific SharePoint folders (litigation, demands, closings)Automate DocuSign retainer routing into the correct case folder upon signatureOrganize court filings into docket folders automaticallySet up deadline monitoring for answer deadlines and other time-sensitive events post-service5.
