The Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Practice Project Management Lead to join our dynamic team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and mentoring a team of more than 10 Project Managers working across diverse client accounts and industries. The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, servant leader, a process-oriented thinker, and a passionate advocate for project management best practices. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, fostering the growth of our PMs, and contributing to the overall maturity of our project management practice. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance and support to PMs on project planning, execution, risk management, and client communication. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and facilitate professional development opportunities for your team. Practice Development & Standardization: Help define, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, processes, and best practices across the organization. Develop and maintain a repository of project management templates, tools, and documentation. Champion the adoption of agile and other relevant project management frameworks. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project and team performance. Project Oversight & Governance: Provide high-level oversight of all projects within the practice, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Act as an escalation point for project-related issues and risks, providing strategic guidance and support to resolve them. Conduct regular project reviews to ensure alignment with client expectations and company goals. Collaborate with other department leads (e.g., Sales, Engineering, Design) to ensure seamless project execution and resource allocation. Client Relationship Management: Engage with key clients on strategic initiatives, providing leadership and ensuring client satisfaction. Support Project Managers in navigating complex client relationships and challenging project dynamics. Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Project Management Office (PMO) and the company. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the project management practice. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in project management and software development.RequisitosQualifications & Skills Experience: Proven experience in a senior project management leadership role, overseeing a team of Project Managers in a software development or digital agency environment. A strong track record of successfully delivering a variety of projects across different industries. Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing project management talent. Skills: Leadership: Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a focus on servant leadership. Project Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and best practices. PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a strong plus. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
