Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement LATAMWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager – Strategic Procurement to lead the LATAM procurement organization across multiple spend categories. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives that drive value, innovation, and operational excellence across the region.Reporting directly to the Sr. Director International Procurement, the successful candidate will be a strategic leader and change agent—elevating procurement’s role within the business by building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring procurement strategies align with corporate objectives.In addition to leading the regional procurement team, this role will own high-value, high-impact negotiations and strategic partnerships with critical suppliers, enabling business growth, cost efficiency, and innovation across LATAM.Responsibilities- Lead the LATAM procurement team—setting vision, priorities, and performance standards for regional procurement operations.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies across indirect, direct, and service categories to align with global and regional business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, operations, finance, and supply chain teams, enabling strategic decision-making.
- Own and lead major negotiations and long-term partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal commercial, quality, and service outcomes.
- Drive supplier relationship management, including performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and innovation initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across LATAM and with global procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and other corporate functions.
- Champion ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and sustainability priorities within procurement strategies.
- Continuously improve procurement processes, tools, and governance to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Ensure effective communication of procurement strategies, initiatives, and performance to executive stakeholders.
- Support talent development within the procurement function, including recruitment, coaching, and career progression.Position Qualifications- 5+ years of progressive procurement experience, including strategic sourcing and supplier management, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing regional teams and delivering sustainable performance improvements.
- Strong experience in procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record in leading high-value negotiations and building strategic supplier partnerships.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP and procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, SAP Concur) is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in both Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus).
