Built by industry experts and passionate entrepreneurs, our platform is crafted for freelancers, remote workers, and everyday users across Latin America seeking more accessible and efficient financial tools.To support belo’s growth across LatAm, we’re looking for an **Accounting Lead** to own and scale the holding’s accounting function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and solid foundations for the business.**What You'll Do**:- Own the **accounting process and strategy** for the holding company.
- Partner with **external accounting and tax advisors** across the countries where we operate.
- Consolidate **multi-entity, multi-country financial statements**, keeping them accurate, consistent, and scalable.
- Lead and coordinate **external audits** for the holding company.
- Design and execute the **tax strategy**, supporting business growth while ensuring proper accounting and tax treatment.
- Keep **accounting and tax matters** aligned with local and international requirements, supporting the team as new rules come into play.
- Drive **automation and continuous improvement** of accounting and tax processes across the holding.
- Be an active part of **Forecast & Planning (F&P;)**, working closely with Finance and driving improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with **Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations**, leading the accounting perspective and optimizing existing processes.
- Raise the bar for the holding’s accounting, setting **high standards for quality and execution**.**What We're Looking For**:
**Must Have**:- Degree (or advanced student) in **Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration**, or related fields.
- Solid experience in **financial accounting** within multi-entity or holding structures.
- Hands-on experience with **accounting and tax regulations** in Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Background in **startups or fast-paced environments**.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, flexible mindset.
- Ability to work **autonomously** while collaborating across teams.
- Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting **tight deadlines**.
- Fluent **English**.**Nice to Have**:- Experience in **holding company accounting**.
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Familiarity with **G Suite** (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Knowledge of **SQL, Python, or similar tools**.
- Portuguese proficiency.
