The primary focus of this role is Surgical Scheduling.Key tasks include:
Patient Coordination: Scheduling follow-up visits for existing patients.
Lead Conversion: Contacting new patient leads generated via Facebook ads/marketing campaigns and converting them into confirmed appointments.
Voicemail Management: Checking and responding to after-hours patient voicemails within the first hour of the shift.Mandatory Requirements
Language Proficiency: Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish), as approximately 30-40% of the patient base is Spanish-speaking.
Experience: At least one year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant supporting a U.S.-based practice.
Communication: Exceptional phone skills and customer service experience.
Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday.Nice-to-Haves
Clinical Training: Medical background or specific training within the medical niche.
Advanced Experience: Prior experience in vascular surgery or similar surgical specialties.
Efficiency: Familiarity with the specific EMR and phone systems mentioned below to reduce onboarding time.Tools & Systems
