Establish and provide strategic leadership for Medical Affairs, develop and execute initiatives for product launch readiness and product lifecycle management:- Serve as a core member of the CVT, leading the medical strategy in brand team meetings.
- Ensure the development and implementation of scientific interaction plans for the therapeutic area for both marketed products and products in the launch process in a timely manner.
- Identify and develop strategies and tactics for the product and therapeutic area.
- Provide field scientific support throughout the product lifecycle and continuously analyze scientific and market trends to develop key strategies to meet the objectives set within the CVT. Identify critical pathways and track projects related to products
- Collaborate with other departments, operations heads, and regional medical affairs teams to design launch readiness programs.
- Lead regional clinical advisory board strategies, alongside other Medical Affairs personnel.
- Serve as a medical and scientific expert for internal and external clients within specialized areas.
- Build relationships with key medical societies and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (including Medical Affairs, RA, PV, Commercial, Access, Region, BT) to align and facilitate seamless collaboration and communication.**Material development and Monitoring**:- A) Review/preparation of product information kits, product monographs, core medical information responses, package inserts, and promotional materials.
- B) Review the medical content of regulatory dossiers.
- Function as a scientific expert on products for internal and external customers within areas of expertise such as clinical, scientific, and health economics.
- C) Review and assess promotional materials and other scientific documents.**Scientific Lead (in field)**:
Function as a scientific expert on products to internal and external customers within areas of expertise such as clinical, scientific and health economics:- A) Provide scientific support to key opinion and thought leaders, community physicians, investigators, and other healthcare providers
- B) Provide adequate medical input in country brand teams
- C) Review and approval of promotional materials
- D) Medical and scientific support via 1:1 interactions and information services.**Medical Education**:
Planning, oversight, approval and set up of educational activities.
- A) Planning and delivery of the medical education (as specified in MAF Plan)
- B) Sinergy with regional medical affairs to design and deliver regional educational activities
- C) Manage operations related to educational activities
- D) Identify Medical Education opportunities
- F) Develop KOL’s strategic mapping and engagement. Develop KOL’s strategic mapping and engagement**Qualifications**:- ** Preferred Minimum Education**: Medical Degree, Postgraduate studies or Master’s degree.
- Therapeutic area scientific knowledge and skills to interpret scientific data, deep scientific knowledge according to business/regulatory needs.
- Required Years of Related Experience: 3 - 5
- Required Knowledge: Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines. Project management. Strategy implementation. Business acumen, Teamwork, leadership, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills - able to work effectively in a matrix, Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values.
