- Test software systems, review and analyze documentation, specifications and understand the business requirements.
- Involved in investigating, analyzing and writing tests for reported defects.
- Implement best practices for test automation to optimize test execution efficiency.
- Contribute to test planning and strategy, collaborating with QA and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and schedules.
- Provide input on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to automated testing.
- AT least +4 years of experience.
- Knowledge of automated testing methods & frameworks. Tech stack: Java, Cucumber, Gherkin.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, ETL).
- Strong knowledge and experience in Web Services/API testing (REST API).
- Knowledge in scripting and programming languages based on OOP. Java ideally. Python preferably.
- Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to details
- Proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking.
- Desirable:
- JMeter for API and/or performance testing experience.
- ETL/data testing experience. Tools: Great expectations or others.
- Python for scription and/or testing data.
