With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.Responsibilities:

Test software systems, review and analyze documentation, specifications and understand the business requirements.
Involved in investigating, analyzing and writing tests for reported defects.
Implement best practices for test automation to optimize test execution efficiency.
Contribute to test planning and strategy, collaborating with QA and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and schedules.
Provide input on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to automated testing.

Qualifications

AT least +4 years of experience.
Knowledge of automated testing methods & frameworks. Tech stack: Java, Cucumber, Gherkin.
Build and maintain automated test frameworks (UI, API, ETL).
Strong knowledge and experience in Web Services/API testing (REST API).
Knowledge in scripting and programming languages based on OOP. Java ideally. Python preferably.
Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing).
Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to details
Proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results.
Familiarity with bug tracking systems and experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking.
Desirable:

JMeter for API and/or performance testing experience.
ETL/data testing experience. Tools: Great expectations or others.
Python for scription and/or testing data.
