To support this mission, Syngenta's Production & Supply Team is seeking a Production & Supply Head for South in Buenos Aires.
This role will contribute and drive the CU strategic agenda, delivering key financial and operational targets, transforming the business operations and building capabilities fit for the future.
Responsible for leading the supply team to deliver the business imperatives while continually improving processes to respond to a dynamic environment, playing an active role in designing and implementing regional strategic priorities.Accountabilities Participates in the formation and transformation of CU strategy, business policy and objectivesContribute to the growth of the business through support in implementing supply chain, sourcing and production operations concepts and strategies.
Act as an equal business partner to the CU Commercial teamsResponsible for HSE, quality, supply planning, security and replenishment of supply, total cost of supply, inventory and risk management, S&OP, logistics, order management, import and customs and related Supply activitiesImprove supply chain digitalization; bring relevant information to assist in decision makingBuild a supply chain roadmap to identify strategic initiatives for the next 5 yearsEnhance customer touch points for positive experiencesImprove the team's capability and develop leaders for the futureCo-ordinate Budget and Financial Plan preparation (ensuring realism & consistency) based on thorough assessments of forecast, economics, products, opportunities and resourcesEnsure CU assets operate to Global Supply standards and meet all applicable legislative requirementsBenchmark and aim to be the # 1 P&S organization vs industry competition in the respective CURepresent the P&S function in the CU risk management committee, ensuring key P&S risks are recorded and managedQualificationsRequired:10+ years of experience leading a team covering Planning, Procurement, Logistics, HSE, Quality, Demand Management, Customer Service, preferably in a multinational Matrix organizationProficient in Spanish and EnglishBusiness and Market knowledge: previous experience in South (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia) is an advantageEnterprise Leadership capabilities: ability to transformInfluence, ability to connect with different stakeholdersBuild a culture of innovation, Technology and automation knowledgeCreative and proactive approach with good analytical skills, customer centric, result orientedFinancial skills, understanding cost/benefit ratio, payback, NPVEnergy, drive, persistenceAdditional InformationBe part of the Syngenta ExperienceCompetitive salary and attractive benefitsDynamic and international environmentModern office environment and collaboration toolsForward thinking policies (e.g. remote working, career breaks)Support personal development in a diverse and inclusive environmentImportant: Beyond just believing in the power of diversity, Syngenta promotes an inclusive culture that includes differences in all its forms.
