Positioned at the intersection of Engineering, Architecture, and AI technology, this highly visible strategic role will help shape our company's future technical direction.The Work You'll DoThe Senior Developer and AI Software Composer will lead the design, development, and modernization of our global web application experiences, with a particular focus on reducing technical debt, eliminating security vulnerabilities, and transforming legacy systems into scalable modern platforms. This role provides guidance across multiple functional and technical areas within Product Development, balancing new feature development with critical technical improvements.More Specifically, You Will- Directly contribute to team codebases by implementing solutions using AI-assisted development techniques
- Quickly understand and navigate diverse technical domains to provide timely, high-impact assistance
- Establish comprehensive guidelines for AI coding assistant usage, including:
- Prompt engineering best practices
- Code quality and security standards for AI-generated code
- Workflow integration strategies
- Foster an Innovation Culture Evaluate and recommend AI coding tools and platforms to enhance developer productivity
- Invest in Our People Partner with other architects to identify strategic opportunities for AI-augmented development and teach them best practices (eg. prompt engineering and workflow integration)
- Lead with Purpose demonstrate how to incrementally improve architecture while delivering business valueWhat We Need From You- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record of successfully modernizing legacy systems
- Strong English communication skills
- Expertise using or interest in learning AI coding assistants in professional contexts (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's models)
- Experience leading technical debt reduction programs with measurable results
- Technical expertise in JavaScript and React, with experience modernizing C# and .NET service-oriented systems
- Ability to articulate technical debt concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to balance immediate fixes with long-term architectural improvements
