- Assess whether risks are mitigated across the business and that operations are aligned across the group
- Identify potential solutions to identified gaps in the control environment, and recommending theirconsideration to management
- Feeding back findings of audit work to management and discussing any concerns
- Drafting audit reports summarizing the findings of audit work
- Build relationships and open communication channels across the business with key stakeholders, alwaysmaintaining trust to help the business meet its operational goals
- Carry out assurance activities to ensure the group’s business and strategic objectives are identified,reported and managed
- Act as a consultant, advising departments, providing recommendations across the business on operationalchanges to improve business performance and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support audits of clients and suppliers to assess the risk to Equifax
- Provide robust challenge on major projects
- Undertake investigation or special reviews**What experience you need**:- At least 3 years of experience working in Internal audit within an international multi-site group of companies, or o external audit with experience from a Credit Bureau, Financial Services organization, Big 4, or similar.
- Advanced English
- Travel availability (Up to 20% of the time) between LATAM offices is expected (Quito, San Salvador, Tegucigalpa, San José CR, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Montevideo, and Asunción).**What could set you apart**:- Strong communicator, with experience in engaging a range of stakeholders at different levels, up to senior management and Exec.
- Demonstrable skills and qualities needed in being an effective auditor: Confidence, attention to detail, negotiator, integrity, analytics.
- Independent, motivated, works well under remote supervision.
