Our staffing agency is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across various industries, including Tech, Marketing, Professional Services, and more. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals that support long‑term business objectives.Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers across multiple industries (Tech, Marketing, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long‑term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Track and report on pipeline, performance metrics, and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related client‑facing role.
  • Industry exposure: Experience working with clients across various industries (Tech, Marketing, Professional Services, etc.).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes.
Preferred
  • Experience in B2B environments with complex sales cycles.
  • Existing network of contacts in Tech, Marketing, or related sectors.
  • Background in working with or within staffing, consulting, or agency environments.
