**Role Summary**:
Machining Production Supervisor, reporting directly to the plant manager. Management of a team of 12 people, responsible for machining parts, repairing valves, and packaging pumps, planning tasks by managing plant capacities, ensuring that quality exceeds customer expectations.**Responsibilities**:- Manage machining resources, implementing continuous improvements in the area.
- Provide technical support to conventional and CNC machine operators.
- Implement continuous improvements in the area, report on Kaizen and 5S projects.
- Manage KPIs (utilization, efficiency, productivity, scrap, rework).
- Analysis for problem solving in lean manufacturing.
- Maintenance of equipment and machines used in the area of responsibility
- Maintenance and review of area metrics. Participation in the Plant review meeting.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 procedures for the area of responsibility
- Achieve monthly and annual financial objectives of the Plan/Forecast: shipments to Antofagasta Service Center, Operating Income (OI), and Cash Flow measured in the P&L.;
- Promote and support a safe working environment in the plant.
- Ensure that all safety training and documentation is up to date in accordance with company requirements and procedures.
- Promote and support all HSE activities such as audits, improvement plans, special events, and others.
- Lead by example in integrity and ethics, promote trust, and set an example of positive leadership.

- Participate in internal and external training opportunities to improve product understanding and professional training.
- Other assigned tasks.**Requirements**:- Mechanical/Industrial Engineer or Certified Implementation Engineer
- Knowledge/experience in Lean and Six Sigma processes and methodologies (continuous improvement)
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming.
- Experience in ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
- At least 5 years' experience in rotating equipment
- Experience in personnel management and team management
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, construction drawings, assembly drawings, operating and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to write and draft documents, technical reports, root cause analyses, and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
- Ability to work in a team
