In a SaaS enterprise like Avature, a robust infrastructure is key to success. That’s why the Cloud Engineers who handle our network are fully immersed in the system and their work has a direct impact on the service we deliver. As a part of the Networking team, you’ll work with a wide range of technologies to keep our platform services up and running in the best possible way. You will collaborate with specialists from several other teams, which creates opportunities to learn and grow within our Engineering area.**Your challenges and objectives**:- Gain a profound knowledge of the entire Avature infrastructure and processes.
- Have ownership of the network, actively working on improving the system.
- Propose and implement enhancements to the way we work, looking for ways to improve processes.**Your day-to-day activities**:- Participate in projects to improve our networking infrastructure.
- Collaborate in network design definitions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents that may arise.
- Monitor, analyze, and solve cloud issues.
- Manage relationships with providers.
- Automate recurrent tasks and minimize common incidents.**About you**:- Attentive, to solve issues that may arise at any time.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge about cloud virtualization environments (AWS, OpenStack).
- Organized and able to work autonomously.
- DevOps, automation, and scripting experience.
- Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Knowledge of firewall configuration is a plus.
- Linux administration knowledge is a plus.
- Cisco or Juniper certifications are a plus.
