Could you imagine yourself in a place like this?Dow has an opportunity for a **Senior Site Logistics Engineer** located at **Site Logistics **plant in **Bahia Blanca, Argentina.****Responsibilities / Duties**:- Work closely with the operations team leveraging their problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
- Partner with experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve and document operating discipline.
- Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility.
- Understand why specific procedure steps and precautions are needed and keeps a strong field presence to reinforce the importance.
- Conduct daily review of logbook and Aspem data to better understand the operation and stay engaged with daily activities.
- Maintain, own, and review daily Key Process Indicators (KPI)/ trends to ensure optimum performance.
- Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies.
- Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drives implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure compliance with plant operating permits. Understands site integration and provides input to optimize the overall system.**Required qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree plus engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.
- Advanced english verbal and written communications.**Desirable Requirements**:- 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain operations or related experience.**Your skills, knowledge, and abilities include**:- Demonstrating competencies in the areas of leadership, communication, initiative, teamwork, and interpersonal effectiveness.
