Structured as a matrix organization of six geographic regions and ten platforms, LDC operates in more than 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people worldwide.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for sourcing services, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes price, delivery, and terms.Primary Responsibilities- Define and execute sourcing strategies for local/regional simple categories aligned with global strategies.
- Lead sourcing activities for services, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, optimizing price, delivery, and terms.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct supplier performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Analyze purchase requisitions and request quotes via Ariba based on internal client needs.
- Evaluate quotes against user specifications, including brand, price, warranty, and delivery time.
- Ensure accurate generation and transmission of purchase orders in SAP.
- Negotiate CAPEX contracts (local, regional, or global) and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, production, and engineering departments to deliver timely procurement solutions.Experience
- University degree in Economics, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Over 7 years of experience in Purchasing, with at least 4 years in investment project procurement.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and tools: SAP, Ariba, Power BI, Planview, and EBX.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with maintenance and engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage sourcing decisions with a Total Cost of Ownership approach.#J-18808-Ljbffr
