We leverage the power of digital assets and blockchain to build an inclusive financial ecosystem to advance the freedom of money and improve financial access for people around the world.We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer Engineer to take ownership of building and evolving our internal monitoring and alerting systems that keep our high-load, real-time production systems running smoothly. If you thrive on solving complex challenges at scale and have experience in DevOps/SRE practices and monitoring performance-critical applications, this role could be a great fit.In this position, you will design, build, and continuously improve our internal monitoring and alerting tools. Test and validate solutions in real production environments. Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and performance.This is a full-time remote role, with a preference for candidates based in European time zones.Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting tools for mission-critical systems
- Automate production testing to ensure reliability and scalability
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and software issues
- Track, update, and drive resolution of technical problems across teams
- Suggest and implement architectural enhancements and process improvements
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and vendor solutions
- Safeguard critical systems by applying best-in-class security practices and solutionsRequirements- At least 7+ years of experience as a Node.js / JavaScript developer, ideally with a background in monitoring and supporting large-scale production systems
- Strong knowledge of REST API design and WebSockets
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Solid understanding of distributed systems at scale
- Proficiency working in a Linux environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logicallyOptional- Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Nginx, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Experience working with time-series databases
- Understanding of low-level programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Rust)
