DMED also manages operations of the Company’s streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.**How you will contribute to our magical experience?**:
This role will support planning and forecasting processes by assisting with the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and 5 year strategic plans.**The Analyst Finance will be responsible for**:- Prepare and coordinate forecast, annual operating plan and five-year plan financial submissions for Non Sports Planning (ie: Marketing, On Air, etc). Understand and explain variations.
- Analyze actual P&L; variances against forecast, plan and prior year for external reporting purposes.
- Communicate regularly with budget owners to ensure plans reflect most current strategies and information.
- Review, analyze and consolidate financial submissions.
- Assists with developing and maintaining systems, allowing financial planning and control for budgeting and reporting purposes.
- Develop and manage relationship with Accounting to ensure financial statements accurately reflect results and policies.
- Assist Sr. Financial Analyst/Manager with financial estimating and tracking of daily operation.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to support the financial needs of the business.
- Collaborate with the preparation of presentations for Senior Management.
- Consult with the Accounting team during quarterly financial close.**_ What we need from you be part of this story:_**
- Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance).
- 2 year’s experience in Accounting/Finance.
- English: Excellent writing and oral (is a must)
- Portuguese is a plus
- Strong PC software skills, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships and interact with executives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.**Additional Information**:
