- Develop the annual operating plan for the business aligned with the key business imperatives for the organization
- Deliver agreed upon the operating plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring sales, expenses and IBT meets or exceeds targets.
- Ensure financial control of the market, maintaining financial integrity consistent with the Zoetis values.
- Generate and protect short
- and long-term revenue streams.
- Utilizes digital and data technology and tools to their fullest capabilities to drive sales growth and optimize performance in the operations.
- Ensures the effective operation and management of all functional areas of the business such as customer service, commercial operations, sales and marketing and technical operations.

- Develop a deep and practical understanding of customer needs within the market.
- Ensure the development of the Zoetis strategic and operating plan and budget that meets or exceeds Zoetis goals while optimizing Zoetis’ position in the local market and enhances and/or maintains its global position.
- Ensure the optimal allocation of resources needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the strategic plan.
- Ensure implementation of new and revised strategies, within agreed upon timeframes that reflect overall organizational priorities and take into account impact on team structure, resource allocation and staff development.
- Deliver new business opportunities, products or services to the market for Zoetis. Continually assess customer growth opportunities and develop the business in line with country objectives
- Maintain a constant view of market conditions. Anticipate fluctuation. Make calculated judgements to harness the commercial potential from changing market conditions

- Ensure the successful identification, planning and exploitation of new products, brands or trade opportunities to develop the business in line with Zoetis’ strategic direction.
- Proactively manage and maximize value from the entire product pipeline (rather than a few products).
- Ensure the successful, sustained development of business alliances.
- Analyze strategy and operating plans in order to identify sales and/or profit gaps and whether a new brand / line extension / acquisition is required.
- Ensure that staff and external suppliers understand and carry out agreed upon recommendations.
