What you'll do ? As a Backend Engineer in the User Eligibility team you will be responsible for operating the Subscription Domain at Company
? You'll work with our team to build a strong opinion on what our subscription data model looks like, merging models and working on driving reliable, quality APIs other services can depend on
? You'll work in our Platform Org, focusing on developing APIs to feed other Platform Services as well as Applications in our PX Organization
? You'll need to be a strong collaborator and communicator — understanding downstream APIs and upstream application behaviour
? You'll need to support services in Production by utilizing Monitoring & Alerting, using initiative to investigate potential issues and being confident in raising those to the wider team
? We use DataDog for Logging and Monitoring, Terraform for managing infrastructure, GitHub Actions for managing CI/CD and ArgoCD for managing Kubernetes Clusters (EKS)
What we are looking for 3+ Years of Ruby on Rails Experience
Experience developing APIs using REST
Experience collaborating with other engineering teams
Proficient with Monitoring Tools like DataDog
Proficient with CI/CD Tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions or Circle CI
Proficient with Postgres or similar DB management technology
Bonus Marks ? Previous experience working with a Subscription Model
? Previous experience with Go
? Previous experience with gRPC
