We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant (FI/CO) with strong functional expertise, business process acumen, and cross‑module integration experience. The consultant will partner with finance and IT stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP Finance solutions, supporting core accounting processes such as month‑end close, reconciliation, project accounting, and asset lifecycle management. Experience in SAP Private Cloud (S/4HANA) environments is required.\nResponsibilities\n\n
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP FI/CO solution design and configuration, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and CO‑PA.
\n
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate accounting and controlling requirements into SAP design artifacts and system configuration.
\n
- Design and support cross‑module integrations with MM, SD, PS, PP, and PM, ensuring accurate financial postings and reconciliation.
\n
- Provide functional leadership for Project Systems (PS) settlement, budgeting, and integration to FI, CO, and Assets under Construction (AuC).
\n
- Configure and support Asset Accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and reconciliation to GL.
\n
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including accruals, allocations, settlements, revaluations, and financial validations.
\n
- Participate in data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare support.
\n
- Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
\n
- Advise on best practices, internal controls, and continuous improvement opportunities within SAP Finance.
\n\nQualifications\n\n
- 6+ years of hands‑on SAP FI and/or CO consulting experience in general or complex ERP environments.\n
\n
- Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting and controlling business processes, including month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.\n
\n
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE or similar environments), including system constraints and transport governance.\n
\n
- Strong cross‑module integration knowledge (FI/CO with MM, SD, PS, and Asset Accounting).\n
\n
- Proven experience supporting or leading finance workstreams across at least one full SAP implementation or major rollout.\n
\n
- SAP Certification (required) – one or more of:\n
\n
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting ((FI) / S/4HANA)\n
\n
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Management Accounting (CO / S/4HANA)\n
\n
- Ability to communicate effectively with finance leadership, auditors, and technical teams.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n
- Accounting or finance credentials, such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
\n
- Experience with localization requirements (e.g., country‑specific tax, statutory reporting, withholding tax, or regulatory compliance).
\n
- Participation in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including Finance data conversion, reconciliation, and business process redesign.
\n
- Knowledge of Central Finance, Group Reporting, or advanced financial analytics.
\n
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, embedded analytics, or financial KPI dashboards.
\n
- Prior consulting or advisory firm experience.
