Does that sound like you?In your future Role as a Tactical Buyer - Indirect Procurement you willPlay a key role in optimizing and supporting the deployment of indirect (Non-Product Related - NPR) commercial agreements across a diverse range of spend categories. You'll partner with global and regional stakeholders-particularly in manufacturing and engineering-to ensure total cost of ownership (TCO), compliance, and operational excellence in purchasing.You will work across a range of categories, including but not limited to:

Technical and Engineering Services (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Piping, Insulation)
Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE)
Waste Management
Lab and Facilities Management
Fabricated Equipment
Process Automation and Instrumentation

We believe you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and/or operations roles
Proven understanding of sourcing, category management, and contract management processes
Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations
Experience working across geographically dispersed teams
Background in continuous improvement or change management is preferred
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus

Great if you have

Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial procurement
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of driving savings through sourcing strategies
The ability to analyze supplier markets and anticipate shifts in negotiation power
Experience collaborating with centralized procurement hubs, such as Nouryon's Service Center
Skills in aligning cross-functional stakeholders across finance, engineering, and operations

We believe you are a team member who hasTechnical Skills

Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with procurement KPIs and TCO modeling
Understanding of regional supply markets and indirect procurement trends

Analytical Skills

Capable of identifying and assessing cost drivers
Able to develop and track procurement performance metrics

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Effective in building and maintaining supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams
