Record to Report Inventory Senior Analyst role at Air Liquide.
The Senior Inventory Analyst reports directly to the Inventory Team Lead.
The primary function is to be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including inventory and cost accounting analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Team Lead in those activities highlighted as Critical and sensitive to the operation.
The Senior Analyst will also provide support to the accounting Team Lead by working as focal point of certain activities and providing a clear status/summary of what has been done.
Job Responsibilities
Perform Inventory to General Ledger interfaces, monitor and validate complete interface
Execute month end close jobs.
Close Inventory & Purchase Orders Module.
Update costs in the ERP
Assist Operations and warehouse managers on matters involving inventory transactions
Assist Operations Control and Reporting team with inventory variance analysis
Prepare journal entries for month end close
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation
Coordinate physical inventory counts and assist in physical vs book reconciliation
Summarize and review physical inventory results from various warehouses/depots for audit and monthly recording purposes
Prepare monthly percentage of completion revenue recognition
Perform / Review cost variance analysis per BL / SBL / Product / etc., considering variations in Sales, Inventories, etc.
Complete projects as assigned
Prepare an Update Capacity file in order to list the activities performed and the time consumed by each of them

Qualifications
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Experience/Certifications
: 5+ years accounting experience; Certified accountant; Oracle experience highly desirable; SAP experience is a plus
Language Requirements
: English: Advanced proficiency required [B2/C1]; Spanish mandatory
Knowledge and Skills
: IFRS familiarity; Ability to manage a team with significant expertise; Solid understanding of financial analysis and statistics; Advanced skills in Google Suite; Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; Continuous improvement mindset for process improvements
