- Translate business concepts into structured technical requirements, use cases, and user stories
- Define data and integration requirements in collaboration with architects
- Map current- and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Maintain a clear traceability matrix linking business requests to delivered functionality
- Work with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to clarify metric definitions, data transformations, and aggregation rules
- Support efforts to standardize KPIs and enable self-service analytics using BI tools
- Validate data outputs and ensure alignment with business definitions and governance standards
- Collaborate with data governance leadership to ensure quality, compliance, and consistent usage of data assets
- Assist in the design and implementation of new data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations across cloud environments
- Partner with architects to document data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and system dependencies
- Analyze and communicate technical constraints, data availability, and system impacts to business sponsors
- Coordinate with engineering teams to perform user acceptance testing and validate results\nMUST HAVES\n- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Product Owner in data, IT, or digital transformation contexts
- Strong ability to bridge business language and technical concepts
- Knowledge of data systems, BPMN tools (e.g., Camunda), and integration frameworks (e.g., Boomi, APIs)
- Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and RDS
- Experience writing detailed functional specifications, user stories, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL pipelines, and BI/reporting workflows
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Collaborative approach in team settings spanning technical and business disciplines
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury retail industries
- Familiarity with Scrum/Agile practices, Jira/Confluence, and data catalog systems
