This role blends creative design with hands-on development for smaller website projects, landing pages, and light site updates. You’ll create clean, user-friendly designs and bring them to life through development—ensuring each project aligns with NorthWing Digital’s quality standards.\nThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and front-end implementation and can work independently while collaborating with our team.\nResponsibilities\n\n
- Design visually engaging website layouts, landing pages, and digital assets using Figma.
\n
- Develop responsive web pages based on approved designs using WordPress.
\n
- Make updates to existing client websites, including layout adjustments, content updates, and styling tweaks.
\n
- Collaborate with the web team to plan and execute small web projects.
\n
- Optimize pages for speed, accessibility best practices, and mobile responsiveness.
\n
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues as they arise.
\n
- Complete revisions quickly and efficiently based on team feedback.
\n\nRequirements\n\n
- Proven experience in both web design and front-end web development.
\n
- Proficiency in Figma for creating custom designs and layouts.
\n
- Experience with WordPress and page builders (such as Elementor).
\n
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
\n
- Familiarity with responsive design principles, layout structure, typography, and visual hierarchy.
\n
- Ability to manage multiple small projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
\n
- Comfortable working within established brand guidelines.
\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n
- Experience creating custom WordPress templates or light theme modifications.

- Prior experience working with an agency or remote team.
\n
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices related to web builds.
