The Security Coordinator is responsible for managing department reporting, coordinating general operations and special events, responding to incidents, assisting in managing logistics, and training and developing patrol officers.**Manage Reporting**Assist with department records for incident reports. Ensure that student supervisor reports are correctly written and compliant with standards. Ensure follow-through on reports submitted to the Security Department. Ensure that all incident media (photos, videos, electronic documents) are collected and stored on the network.**Coordinate Daily Shifts and Special Events**Help coordinate with other departments to provide security services for daily and special events. Prepare the shift for special duties such as gate/building opening and closing and sign and cone setup. Assist in managing student workers through quality assurance of security services for all events.**Manage Logistics**Assist in managing the twenty-four hour dispatch center. Handle paperwork, phone and event logs, maintenance work orders entered by Security, and daily schedules ranging from building and gate openings to special events.**Coordinate Patrol Officers**Coordinate shift details and patrol officers in the field. Respond to medical emergencies and perform safety inspections around campus.
