- Create written credit approval documents, which include the spreading and presentation of historical financial statement information and the related financial analysis, as well as projections of future cash flows for large corporate borrowers
- Develop a well-informed and forward-looking view of the business, financial and competitive risks associated with a company and sector
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of client credit exposures, across industry classes, on an ongoing basis
- Take ownership of client credit needs and projects and independently develops a credit opinion
- Provide credit expertise in structuring new loan and derivative transactions
- Participate in negotiating, finalizing, and executing documentation for loans and derivatives
- Review and assign risk ratings and maintains updated credit research on their portfolio of clients
- Work with Investment Banking Coverage, Commercial Banking Coverage and Global Corporate Banking on allocation of capital for clients; maintain threshold and industry limits
- Participate in credit due diligence process for clients, including for capital markets transactionsQualifications:
The current open position is a role in Wholesale Credit Risk with expertise in one or more of the industries we support: Consumer, Retail and Healthcare; Technology, Media and Telecommunications; Diversified Industries, Automotive and Transportation, Aerospace and Defense, Airlines, Natural Resources; and Power. Any industry-specific experience is considered valuable, and Consumer, Retail, or Healthcare, in particular for this opportunity.
- BA/BAA degree or advanced student in any Economics Degree
- Advanced English Level
- Excellent accounting and corporate finance knowledge
- Academic training in the principals of accounting, corporate finance capital markets products, and macro economics
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, along with strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an interest in client interaction
