- Build, deploy, and configure on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure resources in production and development environments.
- Perform troubleshooting on ongoing incidents, ensuring quick and reliable responses to monitoring events.
- Interact and collaborate with colleagues from all around the globe.
- Hold ownership and accountability over our Linux-based infrastructure, on premise and in the cloud.**Your day-to-day activities**:- Configure and maintain on-premise infrastructure in our data centers.
- Participate in defining standards with a DevOps/SRE mindset and promote them.
- Ensure resilience and continuity on running systems with quick response to outages.
- Design and automate complex operations to scale in distributed datacenters around the world.
- Stay up-to-date on new functionalities, best practices, and ways to implement solutions in a variety of open source software stacks.
- Provide guidance and support to operations teams, contributing on the maintenance and administration of the platform at the OS level (kernel and storage).**About you**:- Solid Linux system administration experience and knowledge.
- Superior analytical/troubleshooting skills.
- Background on managing cloud-based platforms.
- Understanding of security mechanisms for operating systems and cloud services.
- Cloud administration and containerization experience with technologies such as AWS, Docker, and OpenStack.
- Knowledge of automation: configuration management (e.g. Puppet), observability.
- Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Bash coding skills.
