We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to drive the optimization and evolution of our customer's Pricing Data Platform.This position demands strong expertise in business and data analysis, coupled with an ability to tackle complex insurance pricing concepts or a proven capacity to rapidly learn in this area.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with actuaries, data scientists, product managers, and technical teams to define and document business requirements for insurance pricing models and data processesAnalyze data sources and mappings, and document the calculation logic, business rules, and data definitions enabling precise pricing decisionsTranslate intricate actuarial and predictive modeling methodologies into actionable business and data requirementsProvide input for the development, testing, and validation of predictive models, actuarial pricing systems, and rating frameworksCreate and maintain essential documentation including data dictionaries, business glossaries, and data lineage records for vital calculations (e.g., loss ratios, premium, conversion rates)Conduct gap analyses to align business objectives with technical solutions, proposing optimizations to data processes where neededInterface with business and technical teams to aid in the delivery of automated reporting and insightsOversee project milestones, address data-related challenges, and contribute to successful UAT and post-implementation effortsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline3+ years' experience in roles such as Business Analyst or Data Analyst, particularly within financial services or insurance sectorsProven ability to define, articulate, and document business and data requirements for solutions grounded in complex datasetsFamiliarity with large-scale data structures and definitions, complemented by hands-on experience with data-intensive environmentsExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, backed by meticulous documentation skillsStrong communication capabilities, enabling effective engagement with business and technical stakeholders alikeAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools considered an advantageFluent English communication skills at a B2+ levelNice to havePrior experience within the insurance industry, particularly in pricing, underwriting, actuarial, or product management functionsKnowledge of core insurance pricing metrics and concepts, including loss ratio, premium, frequency, and severityInvolvement in predictive modeling or actuarial projectsBackground in LATAM insurance markets or multi-region environmentsExpertise in data governance practices, including business glossaries and data lineage developmentWe offer/Benefits- International projects with top brands
