- Assist in planning and monitoring of project quality control activities and documentation.
- Maintain quality control documentation onsite and electronic filing and organization in In Eight.
- Assist with tracking construction progress and man-hour reporting.
- Provide basic InEight training to site team and EPC contractor as required.
- Assist with project RFI and Transmittal tracking and closeout.
- Assist with obtaining information for Independent Engineer RFIs.
- Ensure completion of job books onsite and in InEight and provide updates to Owner Project Management Team on the status of the onsite job book preparation as required.
- Facilitate preparation for onsite meetings and site visits.
- Prepare reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence as needed;
- Assist the Owner home office by implementing company policies onsite.
- Provide information by answering questions and requests.
- Elevate site issues or concerns to appropriate Owner staff.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Maintain workflow by following Owner procedures outlined in exhibits, contracts and at Owner direction.
- Contribute to team effort by assisting with any additional documentation and administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain quality control documentation from all project team members electronically through InEight and ensure that EPC contractor and equipment suppliers are following document management requirements.
- Assist EPC contractor with understanding job book requirements and timely completion.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for landowners and EPC contractor and ensures questions are answered by the proper project personnel.
- Assist team members with non-conformances and quality issue closure and documentation;
- Assist team members with maintaining punch lists.
- Work collaboratively with Construction Site Manager and other site management personnel, as well as the Owner Project Management Team.
- Uphold safety standards and requirements and ensures safety protocols onsite are followed;
- Communicate effectively and professionally.
- Represent the organization with composure and professional candor.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

- Coordinate communications between the equipment supplier and other contractors onsite.
- Document daily component delivery logistics meetings between equipment suppliers and EPC contractor.
- Assist with tracking daily deliveries logging arrival and offload times as well as site conditions for the day.
- Ensure all EPC contractor and equipment supplier logs and inspection reports are filed onsite and electronically on InEight.
- Provide a daily and weekly overview of equipment and equipment supplier’s performance onsite and report to the Owner Project Manager.
- Ensure delivery dates and times of all components have been recorded along with any claims of delay or demurrage mentioned by the equipment suppliers and EPC contractor.
- Track and document the confirmation or rejection of demurrage claims submitted by the EPC contractor and equipment suppliers.
- Assist with tracking missing, lost or damaged parts claimed between the equipment supplier and EPC contractor.
- Track site conditions and provide support for the Owner Project Manager’s acceptance or rejection of weather delay claims or Force Majeure claims made by the EPC contractor or equipment suppliers.
- Read and be familiar with the requirements of the EPC contractor’s Site Safety Plan;
- Attend EPC contractor All-hands Safety Meetings and morning safety meetings, and
- Immediately report any significant injuries to the Construction Site Manager, Owner Site Manager, Owner Project Manager and Owner Safety Manager. In the event of a life-threatening injury or a fatality, follow the Emergency Notification Procedure.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in the solar construction industry.
- Background in civil engineering or construction management.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role overseeing all site activities and reporting to the Project Owner.
- Demonstrated understanding of construction activities and working knowledge of structural and electrical construction.
- Previous experience managing a quality control program for large construction projects.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving techniques.
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
- Current OSHA 30 certification
- Knowledge of project controls, critical path method scheduling and risk assessment.
- Comfortable with fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions quickly.
- Able to create and maintain documents in Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF.
- Familiar and comfortable working in an ESRI ArcGIS database for maintaining project status and documentation.
- Attentive to details and efficiencies, and
- Must have a valid driver license.
