**Job Title: Construction Accountant**
**Location: Remote From Latin America**
**Contract Type: International Contractor**
**Monthly Compensation: $2,100-$2,300 USD (based on experience)**Latino Legends is proud to partner with a dynamic and growing construction company in the U.S. to find a **Construction Accountant** who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about continuous learning. This is an exciting remote opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work with a highly collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team.**Key Responsibilities**:- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, job cost accounting, and cash flow management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems.
- Supervise and manage accounts receivable progress billings in accordance with project-specific contract terms.
- Review AR aging reports and assist with timely collections.
- Coordinate and process payments to vendors and subcontractors while ensuring lien waivers are collected.
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances and ensure liquidity requirements are met.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with ownership to develop and manage annual and project-specific budgets.
- Maintain and update construction contract schedules and oversee monthly job cost reports.
- Support the leadership team in strategic planning and financial forecasting.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial and management reports.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.based companies.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction accounting principles and job cost accounting.
- High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and capable of thriving in a team setting.**Soft Skills & Working Style**:
