Our client is a leading full-service internet marketing firm in Tampa, known for building strong online brands through strategic web marketing services.**About the role**:
**What you’ll be doing**:- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and visually appealing WordPress websites.
- Customize and implement WordPress themes to meet project requirements.
- Evaluate and install plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Customize and extend existing plugins or develop custom plugins as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plugin compatibility.
- Create and modify WordPress themes to achieve the desired visual and functional outcomes.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across devices.
- Work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and content.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing WordPress websites.
- Conduct thorough testing of websites to identify and resolve any bugs or issues.
- Ensure websites comply with industry standards and best practices.**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a minimum 3 years.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with responsive and mobile design.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
