As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams as marketing, sales, engineering and supply chain; in order to deliver both innovation and cost savings projects. Also you will act as primary liaison between general management teams and project teams.You will be able to lead end to end projects, challenges charter requirements and team assumptions for transparency and congruency. Coordinates all cross-functional activities to ensure completion of the project on timing, budget and results; and also push leadership teams to make key decisions timely.This role Is considered a key business partner and leader by BU and Category Stakeholders.In this role, you will:- Drive top-line, margin, and/or share growth by owning the largest commercialization projects (core growth and rapid response)
- Lead cost saving and innovation projects mainly related to Logistics (Warehousing operations, Freight to customers, network optimization, etc)
- Influence leadership teams by collecting relevant data, completing critical assessment and driving decisions/actions.
- Develop and own specific Supply Chain Solutions tools and processes (e.g., Flight) and facilitate training/on-boarding of new team members of any function.
- Advance project management functional knowledge of others through coaching, mentoring Maintain PM training documentation
- Proactively drive process compliance, explicitly declare breakdowns and achieve related goals for areas of responsibility.
- Actively drive continuous process improvement efforts.What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:- 3 -5 years of solid experience leading continuous improvement and cost saving projects for large companies..
- 5 years directly working for or with Supply Chain teams.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Deep knowledge about Logistic function and its processes.
- Ability to collaborate with different levels, functions, cultures and languages.Required Qualifications:- Strong business and improvement oriented.
- Effective Communication and influence
- Self driven
- Organized and oriented to detail.Desired Qualifications:- Broad functional knowledge (Legal, Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D;, F&A;, Sale, and Marketing).
- Broad industry proven experience, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods
- Knowledge and experience in stage gate processes and project management practicesEducation Level/Degree:- Bachelor’s degree required (engineering/technical degree preferred)
