EMS offers the ease of managing clients (also referred to as Engagements within EY) in the following manner:
Providing Operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdictionManaging the end to end Engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standardsProviding project management support and controlling the cost of managing compliance across various regions/countriesResponsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLA'sGlobally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations.
A central team of EMS members work with this global network of EY professionals to ensure client's compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time.
The EMS team manages the engagement together with the tax and accounting practices operating from local offices in Americas, EMEIA and APAC.The opportunityThe job holder will work on several client accounts/ engagements, where they will be involved in delivering all service management aspects of multi
- national engagement.Your key responsibilitiesOperational Support and Reporting:
Work closely with a Manager to provide day to day engagement management support for client (s)Support client teams in Americas, EMEIA and APAC in providing timely and accurate information of the engagement to the client headquartersIdentify and transfer potential scope of work to EMS teamUnderstand client requirements and ensure engagement processes meet requirementsProvide situational analysis and solutions for mitigating issues & risks in an engagementMonitor the compliance delivery services across multiple countries and functionsBuild project plan for delivery and set up engagement management toolsReview engagement deliverables and coach staff members on best practicesIdentify pain areas in the processes and create enablers to overcome process issuesMonitor and control activities leading up to fulfilment of compliance and reporting obligations of the of practices across countries as per agreed SLA'sAct as the SPOC for the respective client teams and Second level escalations point of contactMonitor Quality of the team members aligned to ensure quality expectations are metProject Coordination & Control:
Help the manager in transition of engagements to GDSMonitor engagement status, issues and potential risks that can impact engagementWork with global teams to understand the status of the filings for client(s)Understand processes and dependencies in meeting obligations of the filings in countriesProvide engagement status on a periodic basis highlighting risks and issues and achievementsIdentify service delivery and process gaps which can be fixed to improve service deliveryPeople aspectsHandle a portfolio of clients and a team of associates & advanced associatesMonitor and flag engagement and people issue to local and engagement leadershipAct as the SPOC for the respective client teams and first level escalations point of contactWork with Global Engagement Managers and Coordinators to ensure engagements are managed effectively and efficientlyResponsible for the customer satisfaction scores of the portfolio by managing service delivery expectations of clientsIdentify training gaps for self and team and work with leadership to bridge gapsNetwork with offshore teams to create and maintain good relationshipSkills And Attributes To Qualify For The RoleStrong organization and project coordination capabilitiesGood analytical, judgment, tact and decision-making ability along with critical thinking skillsExcellent written, oral and presentation communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work in a multi-functional, multi-geographic teamAbility to build and maintain excellent relationships across organization levelsAbility to work and team with a multitude of different people and different culturesYou will need to have:
Bachelors or Master's degree, preferably Finance, Commerce, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management.
