We work with every part of The Walt Disney Company’s media portfolio to advance the technological foundation and consumer media touch points serving millions of people around the world.How will you contribute to our magical experience?Responsibilities- Design and develop backend applications in Java and/or Python to support integration testing platforms.
- Build scalable, dependable, and high-performance systems for metadata validation across Disney media platforms.
- Apply cloud services (primarily AWS) to create and maintain resilient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with backend development teams to improve code quality through unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and help prioritize roadmap items with project managers.
- Leverage technologies like Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog to support automation and observability.What we need from you- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience building cloud-based applications using AWS.
- Advanced level of English.
- Familiarity with Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to take on new challenges.
