- Build scalable, dependable, and high-performance systems for metadata validation across Disney media platforms.
- Apply cloud services (primarily AWS) to create and maintain resilient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with backend development teams to improve code quality through unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and help prioritize roadmap items with project managers.
- Leverage technologies like Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog to support automation and observability.What we need from you- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience building cloud-based applications using AWS.
- Advanced level of English.
- Familiarity with Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to take on new challenges.
