The purpose of the role is to develop, design and validate appropriate core technical platforms, capabilities, and services related to global IT infrastructure across PMI globally. The scope includes IT infrastructure services hosted on-prem (classic infrastructure and SDI/EDGE private cloud) and in the public cloud (Azure and AWS).YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Lead the development and design of technical solutions that that support business processes and that are efficient, cost effective, reliable, secure and compliant.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions, provide assistance and technical leadership to support & project teams.
- Explore vendor products to determine the best fit to meet PMI requirements, identifying key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the organization's ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets.
- Evaluate total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives.
- Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, ensure that the right IT investments are made from an architecture perspective.
- Propose and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure services in scope.
- College/University degree in Engineering/Computer Sciences/Information Systems.
- Relevant certifications and extensive experience in IT architecture and design, demonstrated analytical and results oriented competencies.
- Broad technical competencies and critical thinking, aptitude to deal with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to influence and persuade.
- Experience in a multinational company, proven work ethic and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English, oral and written.
