This is a highly collaborative role for someone who understands project management as a social, financial, and technical function, rather than a purely mechanical one. Key Responsibilities
Project ManagementLead project kick-off activities, including budget planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Build and coordinate teams of linguists and vendors based on project requirements and client expectations.
Manage translation, localization, and proofreading projects from start to finish.
Ensure projects are executed within budget and according to schedule.
Maintain constant and professional communication with clients, linguists, and internal stakeholders.
Act as the main liaison between clients and production teams.
Proactively assess project risks and take preventive action when needed.
Address and resolve issues that may arise during production.
Create clear project instructions to ensure content meets client expectations.
Manage project finances, purchase orders, and other administrative components.
Run strict QA controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Make sound decisions in urgent or rush scenarios and escalate to the right person at the right time when necessary.
Own and maintain client guides, while proposing updates to processes and workflows when improvements are identified.
Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
Identify situations where cross-sell or upsell opportunities may naturally emerge through project
