You'll inspire and develop a team of talented Operations Managers while designing solutions that optimize the balance of supply and demand in one of the world's most sophisticated platforms.This is a high-impact role where you will craft and execute strategies that directly affect pricing, engagement, growth, and overall marketplace health.What the candidate will doLead and scale a high-performing, fast-paced operations team focused on delivering a best-in-class marketplace experience.Set the vision, strategy, and operational roadmap for the Argentinean Marketplace Operations org, aligning team OKRs with Uber's broader business goals.Drive operational excellence across the lifecycle - from acquisition to engagement and retention - optimizing reliability and efficiency.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Policy & Communications, Legal, Local and Central Operations teams to align on priorities and deliver results.Design and implement scalable solutions across key levers like batching, dispatch, pricing, and supply initiatives that improve the health of the overall marketplace.What you'll need5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, finance, or technology.1+ years of direct people management experience.Critical thinking and analytical rigour, as you will be dealing with data (reports, experiments, pricing models) and scaling processes.Experience with data-based decision-making - exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team.Strong Excel skills, other database experience helpful.
