**Years Experience**: 5-9** Responsibilities**:- Collaborate with client architects and consultants on research, platform evaluation, strategy, and service design.
- Gather high-level business and security requirements, define functional requirements, and coordinate with operational teams and other GIS areas, and guide projects through the ART process as necessary.
- Complete proof-of-concept exercises and testing to verify security compliance and the service request experience.
- Implement solutions for provisioning of resources upon request, administration, and system integration including collection of metadata, reporting, governance, security requirements, and platform monitoring.
- Act as a liaison to developers requesting OpenShift services, review proposed solution architectures, and advise on best practices and process requirements.
- Create required support documentation and contribute to quality documentation as required.
- Provide early-life support during service development and pilot programs prior to handover to operations and facilitate training with the appropriate operational teams.
- Serve as a senior technical resource and escalation point for the OpenShift platform to assist operations with troubleshooting issues and provide emergency support as available.
- Communicate and share knowledge with EDAT team members and other platform teams.**Requirements**:

- Advanced Kubernetes knowledge*
- OpenShift experience
- Able to work on their own and in a vacuum.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (Javascript, Python, Java)
- Intermediate/Advance knowledge of Ansible (Automation) and shell scripting (Bash, Zsh, Python)
- Intermediate/Advance knowledge of Linux operating systems and tools (curl, openssl,etc)5 years
