Position Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our BI & Data Governance team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of a modern cloud-based analytics platform built on Snowflake.
You will work closely with Data Architects, Analysts, and cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines, ensure high-quality data models, and support scalable data solutions. As a key team member, you will help drive best practices in data engineering, platform optimization, and data governance.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, develop, and maintain secure and scalable data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Design and implement data transformation processes using Snowflake SQL, Python, and other relevant tools.
Develop and maintain schemas, tables, and views aligned with a medallion data model.
Collaborate with data analysts to create optimized data structures for reporting and visualization (e.g., Tableau).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning and cost efficiency.
Manage platform administration tasks such as user roles, permissions (RBAC), and data security practices.
Implement data governance standards, including data masking, encryption, and proper data handling.
