?? Purpose of the Role Provide legal advice and support to different areas of the company including Operations, Procurement, Public Affairs, HR, and HES covering regulatory matters, contract negotiation, litigation management, compliance, and government-related issues.
?? Key Responsibilities ?? Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including confidentiality, transportation, and oil gas sales contracts .
?? Provide legal guidance on regulatory and operational matters related to the Upstream Oil Gas business.
?? Support commercial and operational teams in day-to-day business activities.
?? Manage government-related matters and regulatory compliance.
?? Coordinate and manage litigation and claims with external counsel.
?? Advise on environmental matters , including decommissioning and abandonment activities.
?? Provide legal support on labor law and HR matters .
?? Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethics standards, and anti-corruption regulations .
?? Support the development and implementation of internal policies and compliance programs .
