And we’ll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.**Tax Analyst, American Express Latin America and the Caribbean Region (LAC).**This position, based in Buenos Aires, will support the regional Tax Manager for Argentina and other Latin American countries with tax consulting, business projects as well as supporting tax accounting and compliance matters.**Responsibilities**:- Liaison with local service providers across the region to maintain oversight overtax compliance.
- Provide support for tax audits and litigations across the region.
- Advisory support with business unit teams within the in-scope markets and with central teams.
- Support the implementation of tax legislative changes affecting the region.**Requirements**:- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance or other related major.
- 1-4 years of tax experience with strong background on local provincial and federal tax regulation and good understanding of tax & general accounting. Experience in financial institutions and/or FinTech is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English. Portuguese knowledge is a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills including a strong capability in Excel and Power Point.
- Strong interpersonal skills, natural collaborator who can engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in a Big 4 or similar is strongly preferred.
