This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in real estate or fund-based accounting.
You'll lead bookkeeping, monthly closes, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for several active entitiesPerform timely month-end closes and prepare monthly financial summariesSupport year-end audits and coordinate with CPA for annual tax filingsPrepare and distribute 1099s; manage reimbursements and year-end transfersReconcile bank, loan, reserve, escrow, and company accounts monthlyUpload investor distributions, reports, and tax documents to investor portalForecast loan payments, manage account shortfalls, and resolve escrow issuesAudit general ledger accounts, P&L statements, and property sale recordsMaintain payroll tax records; process vendor payments and investor distributionsTrack late fees or refunds from vendors and escrow agentsParticipate in monthly finance meetings and respond to internal accounting requestsKeep financial SOPs and internal playbooks up to dateRequirements3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or fund accountingProficient with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets or ExcelSkilled in reconciliations, reporting, and investor workflowsStrong attention to detail and dependable work ethicExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English C1+)Comfortable working remotely with overlapping hours in U.S. Central Time (CST)Preferred QualificationsExperience with investor portals, G-Accon, or escrow tracking systemsCompensation & LogisticsFull-time, remote role based in Latin AmericaU.S.
