The Logistics team is responsible for processes and procedures related to Baker Hughes' shipping logistics and customs across borders.
We manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will manage transportation and logistics of goods to and from our customers.
Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Inventory and Finance), you will facilitate efficient service delivery for customers.
You will ensure your duties are carried out in compliance with Baker Hughes and Health & Safety practices.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve on-time pickup & delivery of goods, managing logistics costs to meet budgets and operational plans.
Generating reports on shipment status and costs, including duties and freight, and coordinating with domestic carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents/brokers for imports/exports in the South Cone area (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile).
Coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to execute imports, exports, and domestic transports.
Attending to customs regulations and preparing, validating, and presenting mandatory documents, licenses, and certificates for import/export items.
Supporting customs and government inquiries and audits by providing necessary documents and information.
Proposing improvements in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes within the field.
Communicating effectively with colleagues and business units regarding services rendered.
Contributing to projects as a team member, with work goals typically completed within 1-3 months.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in international and local logistics.
Graduated in International Relations, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Foreign Trade.
Fluent in written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Willingness to learn and adaptability.
