We are looking for a passionate and well-rounded Website Designer & WordPress developer who can design and implement attractive websites for our clients & internal projects. A unique mix of technical skill, and design sensibility. You should have in-depth knowledge of both front-end as well as back-end programming languages, excellent time management skills, and a keen eye for modern aesthetics.You should have a strong design to learn and constantly improve your skills, with experience in creating websites for companies in the US, UK or Australia.This is a remote, work-from-home position.**Responsibilities**:- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Modify & occasionally create Wordpress plugins
- Execute all development stages from concept to final hand-off
- Collaborate with other designers on conceptualizing original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex web needs
- Present and justify design decisions to team members and project stakeholders
- Take a data-driven approach to creating user experiences that drive key actions**Job Skills**:- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Proven work experience as a web designer
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
