The opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI developer to join the Data Engineering team within EY Client Technology's Advanced Analytics Team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards.
If you are passionate about business intelligence, analytics, and transforming complex data into actionable insights, we want to hear from you.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and the Power Query formula language (M-language).
Advanced understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL techniques.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports (including paginated reports) and dashboards for business decision-making.
Experience implementing Power BI data models for large-scale enterprise environments.
Proven ability to deploy and optimize large datasets.
Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.
Strong collaboration, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ideally, you'll also have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
Microsoft Power BI certification.
Experience with other BI tools.
Experience working within large teams to implement Power BI solutions.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience with Git.
Ability to propose solutions based on best practices from Microsoft documentation, whitepapers, and community publications.
