- Participate in end-to-end projects using OT and IT technologies to solve complex business problems
- Help clients achieve Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing objectives with efficient solutions leveraging technology, data, and analytics
- Use quantitative and analytical skills to answer clients' business questions related to process optimization, efficiency, and operational performance
- Work collaboratively with clients to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement within their manufacturing operations
- Ensure project task execution progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings
- Develop expertise in process mapping, root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Recommend and help implement process changes, digital solutions, and advanced analytics to improve manufacturing outcomes
- Support clients in technology transfer, scale-up, and integration of new processes or equipment
- Assess and select the most relevant data and KPIs to track operational improvements
- Communicate results and recommendations to clients with a focus on tangible business impact
- Rapidly learn and understand client-specific manufacturing processes, systems, and challenges
- Be available for clients during regular working hours and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Contribute to internal firm activities
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior project team members for continuous learning and professional growth
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
- Awareness / Experience in the digitization of manufacturing processes, and ideally a good understanding of Manufacturing 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing
- Over 3 years of relevant post-collegiate experience in a manufacturing, process engineering, or operations consulting environment
- Hands-on experience in process optimization, manufacturing operations, process engineering, or technology transfer
- Strong awareness/experience knowledge of process improvement concepts such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Quality by Design (QbD)
- Understanding of key manufacturing systems and technologies (e.g., MES, ERP, LIMS, PLM)
- Understanding/awareness of data generated across systems used in process manufacturing like DCS, PLCs, SCADA, MES, Historians, LIMS, QMS, SAP, etc., and leveraging data for bringing efficiency, tracking KPIs like OEE, process improvements, yield optimization, improving quality, reducing waste, etc.
- Experience with data analysis and the ability to generate insights from manufacturing and operations data
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing solutions, automation, or Industry 4.0 technologies is preferred
