GT Supply Chain consolidates all planning, scheduling, execution, governance, and improvement activities occurring across the infrastructure manufacturing and retail space.In a typical day, you will be helping in the processes of budget attainment, liaising with integrators for quotations, and raising orders for material planned as part of our best in class supply chain processes.**Job Duties Include:
- Coordinate with JPMC Supply Planners and external technology integrators to understand supply plans and provide material planning support and progress updates.
- Obtain quotes from integrators.
- Raise purchase requests on schedule and of high quality outside of supply lead-time to ensure delivery of material to support customer timelines.
- Ensure timely approval of procurement requests, providing detailed justification for each request as needed by senior approvers.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices based on confirmed ship receipt, pricing, BOM, and payment terms.
- Keep accurate records on purchases, spend vs. budget, and invoices.
- Monitor inventory levels and age to reduce write-off risks and depreciation of undeployed assets.
- Work cross functionally (Finance, Integrators, etc.) to improve processes, reduce toil, standardize, and automate.**Qualifications
- College undergraduate degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
- Detail oriented with an audit and compliance mindset
- English written and verbal communication skills that enable coordination across multiple teams and presentation to senior leadership
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Self-starter, motivated - looking to grow opportunities within/beyond the team
- Proven experience working within a large global organization with culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn proprietary software and databases.
- Preferred: Purchasing experience (quotes, purchase order process, and liaising with third parties)
- Preferred: Experience with virtualized data centers, SAP Ariba, Kaizen, Lean methodology, and Agile methodologyAs a Global Technology Supply Chain Material Planner you will interact with JPMC Supply Planners and external technology integrators to understand supply plans and provide material planning support.
